Dental Student, Lynna Van, achieves new smile at Orthodontic Arts.
Lynna is pursuing an industry that specializes in smiles, and believes that people will take her work more seriously if they see that she also takes care of her own smile. She anticipates utilizing her talents in dental education, which means having to speak in front of people often.
Word of mouth played a huge role in Lynna’s decision to get a consultation at Orthodontic Arts. “I knew several classmates who had previously received treatment from Dr. Birdwell and I heard nothing but positive feedback. I have had faculty ask me where I am receiving treatment, and his name is always met with respect and high regard. The location is ideal, too.”
“I can deliver a presentation most confidently when I’m not worried about how I look. It sounds petty, but your appearance really is the first thing people take into account when you’re making a first impression."
"Outside of my professional life, it is important that my smile is also functional. I take for granted the ability to speak normally and eat everyday foods that many unfortunately don’t have. I realize this more and more as I see these kinds of cases in clinic.”
“It is never too late to have the smile you’ve always dreamed of,” said Lynna “I am 25 years old, and the fact that I only have to wait 2 years for a smile that will last me a lifetime is pretty incredible. You have to be patient with the process. This is my second time in braces, but I know the end result will be worth it.”
